Worthwhile Adventures is the moniker given to the postmodern, post-Christendom church work Alisha and Josh found themselves called to in 2011. Deeply rooted in a 500-year-old Christian tradition called Anabaptism, the Garbers have been on a quest to join in God’s work of both redeeming and re-inventing church.

Grassfed, free-range missionaries.

Imagine hobbits and the Amish had a baby. Joshua and Alisha Garber are international church workers based in Belfast and serving the people of Ireland. With son Asher in tow, they’ve committed to following God’s call “there and back again.”

The greatest teacher is experience.

From the Czech Republic to Lithuania to Barcelona to Northern Ireland, learn from 10 years of cross-cultural ministry.

“Hot damn, that’s some good church work.”
